Oasis Tutor, Betty Dotson, created a very special journal for the Bicentennial Bi-generational Writing Project.  She read the book, “Following the Drinking Gourd” written by Jeanette Winter, with her second grade student at IPS Cold Spring School.  Afterwards, she shared her own family history and pictures about Lyles Station, an early African American farming settlement in southwestern Indiana
